Jurors in nanny killer trial hear tape of mom’s anguished cries

Jurors wiped away tears Friday as they heard an Upper West Side mom’s anguished screams in the background of a 911 call reporting the stabbing deaths of her two tots.

“I think something happened,” Glenn Looby, a security guard at the West 75th Street building, told the operator. “Somebody murdered a kid or something.”

Mom Marina Krim — who, just moments prior to the call, discovered the bloodied bodies of her kids Lucia, 6, and Leo, 2, in her apartment — can be heard in the background wailing in disbelief.

One male juror in the Manhattan Supreme Court trial wiped away tears and a female juror shook her head as the static-filled tape was played.

“Oh my God,” Looby said on the brief call.

Looby testified he told the operator that Krim was screaming that someone “murdered her kids.”

“All I was sure is that she was screaming she murdered her kids,” he said. “She was saying her kids, her kids.”

Nanny Yoselyn Ortega faces life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted of murder charges.
